From 1961 through 1985, her background included positions in the fields of beauty and health care; the retail food industry; and, textile manufacturing and sales. From 1986 until 2000, she worked in the field of education and administration with the Moreno Valley Board of Education and was the C.S.E.A. Chapter President from 1996 through 1997.
Mary Lou understands the responsibility of community service and has served as the Director of Contributions for the United Way and has been a strong supporter of the Girl Scouts organization.
